Music Matters on Tour Feb '15

Music Matters are travelling from Loughrea in East Galway to visit Cork this year, in the first of their annual trips to Suzuki hubs around the country. The Suzuki community is growing steadily in Ireland and Music Matters are keen to keep the community spirit alive with a weekend of music and fun, consisting of concerts and musical get-togethers in both the city and county. Suzuki teachers and students from the Cork area are welcome and encouraged to join in the fun on Feb 7-8th.

The weekend kicks off in the picturesque seaside village of Courtmacsherry, with a concert in Courtmacsherry Community Hall on the afternoon of Saturday 7th at 1pm, all welcome. Later that evening, once settled back in the Rochestown Park Hotel in Cork, there will be an evening of great entertainment as Suzuki teachers and students from around Cork will join Music Matters in the Rochestown for a play together of Suzuki repertoire and a trad session at 7:30pm.

Sunday morning will be well deserved free time for the children until their main concert 'Music Matters on Tour' at 1pm in the Stack Theatre in CIT Cork School of Music.
